Being in a city like New York, there are abundance of options for parties. As a studio located on the Upper West Side, we’ve seen our share of families hosting celebrations or parties at Central Park and Riverside Park. But we also know how much planning and time consuming it can be to put everything together. Let’s not mention the clean up–somehow in just a few hours, a tornado of a mess is waiting for you after the party is done!
We’d like to give you another option, one that is not only fun for your child but one where you don’t have to worry about the planning, the party games or picking up the dessert (and no clean up after!). At Big Apple Portraits, our studio offers the option of hosting a party where the kids will have a photo shoot and crafting party.
The party will have the whole studio to themselves where they can pose to their hearts content with our props (you can also bring your own) . After the shoot is finished, we’ll pass out cupcakes from Magnolia’s Bakery and watch a slideshow of the photo shoot. It’s one of the most enjoyable parts during the event–all the giggles, shouts and laughter. The party guests will also have a crafting event where they’ll each get a 4×6 photo, and create a 12×12 layout page. Throughout the event, there will be someone on hand to watch or help when needed.
